Rockwood Hotel & Spa has a restaurant and a bar. Guests can sample sake or Asahi beer. Iwaki Cafe and Bar is the spot to sample beers and cocktails. Aomori provides fresh produce throughout the different seasons, with the chef selecting ingredients for all dishes. Guests dining on the terrace at the King's Inn can view the golf course and the Tsugaru Strait. A dinner buffet at Rockwood Hall includes 40 dishes. The dinner buffet is available at 4,000 yen for adults, 2,800 yen for children, and 2,000 yen for infants. The King's Inn is named for Arnold Palmer.
Leisure activities
Rockwood Hotel & Spa has a fitness centre, a garden, and ski-to-door access. Aomori Spring's 18-hole course challenges golfers. Practice facilities include a 400-yard driving range and two practice greens. The Rockwood open-air hot springs soothe muscles after skiing. Location and access
Rockwood Hotel & Spa is 45 km from Aomori and accessible to the Juniko area of the Shirakami Mountain Range. Nearby landmarks include Mt. Iwaki Lifts (5 km), Saihojimori (4 km), Mount Iwaki (5 km), Naqua Shirakami Ski Resort (0.5 km), Akakurayama Shrine (4 km), and Oigomori (4 km). Lifts run from December until April. Mount Iwaki, called Tsugaru-Fuji, is the highest mountain in Aomori.
